Small Business Development Center Receives $300 from SouthPoint Federal Credit Union

(Mankato, Minn. -- October 7, 2010)
There is a common thread woven into the fabric of each and every SBDC success story: The participation of many funding partners.

The South Central Minnesota Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is pleased to acknowledge a 2010 contribution of $300 from SouthPoint Federal Credit Union of Sleepy Eye to sustain the direct economic impact of the South Central SBDC.

The South Central SBDC's primary partners are Region Nine Development Commission, South Central College, Greater Mankato Growth and Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation.

Statewide statistics show that companies are more likely to succeed (and repay loans) if they work closely with SBDC consultants to develop realistic financial projections, create actionable business plans and arrange appropriate financing options.

"We sincerely thank all of our funding partners," says Program Manager Julie Nelson. "They recognize that we can accomplish more by working together than we could ever accomplish alone."
