SouthPoint Federal Credit Union designed a special program for teens age 12 - 15. The early teen years are a great time to establish a savings habit and start learning about personal finance. Members will learn first-hand how to manage their finances and reach their financial goals - and have fun while doing it!

EzStart*
With our EzStart Savings you can earn higher interest than a regular savings on amounts up to $5,000. To open this account, you will need to have a SouthPoint checking account, debit card and e-statements. This savings account is available to members 24 and younger.
Dollars For A's
For every "A" (or highest letter grade achievable) you receive on your report card up to 5, you will receive $1 per "A".
Student must bring their report card to any SouthPoint location prior to the end of the next quarter.
The funds will be deposited into your new or existing SouthPoint savings account
Refer a classmate and double your dollars. $5 max per new referral.
Rules for Dollars for A's:
Grade School Students (age 12-15) must have savings and eStatements - money will be directly deposited into their savings account. For 2012/2013 school year. The referred account must stay active for 6 months or the funds will need to be reimbursed back to the Credit Union.
